This season was broadcast on Sony Entertainment as usual on 27 February 2009 and got unexpected winner as on 31 May 2009. The Indian Football team captain Baichung Bhutia beat all other contestants and become the emerged winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja Season 3 with his choreographer Sonia Jaffer instead of this he was the first Male contestants who won Jhalak Dikhhla Ja.
