EWS/DG Nursery Admission Date 2017-18
I have already told you about it in the beginning of the post that the there is no official annoucement regarding the EWS/DG Nursery admission date however it is expected that the admission will start in the mid of the January 2017 once the date is confirmed it will be update below accordingly.

Eligibility Criteria for EWS/DG Nursery Admission
What are the eligibility criteria for ews dg nursery admission or who can apply under this scheme first of all you must be citizen of Delhi to apply under EWS/DG admission category.
- Your income should not be more than Rs. 1 Lakh for EWS category
- If you are applying for Disadvantage Group (DG) you have to show the cast certificate for (SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy layer/Physically Challenged/Orphan and Transgender)
- 25% seats will be reserved for both EWS/DG category
List of Dcouments Required for EWS/DG Admission
- You need to submit ration card / electricity bill for the residence proof
- Voter ID Card for parents and aadhar card for children
- You must have an income certificate less than one lakh rupees which is issued by Competent Authority of Delhi.
- BPL and AAY card holder can also apply.
- For applying admission DG category is not required to show Income Certificate.
- DG category parents need to show caste certificate, if disable need medical certificate, if orphan give documentary evidence and if transgender need documentary evidence also.

Age Limit of Children
Several parents have same question is their any age limit for the childrens to take admission then the answer is yes, it is shared below accordingly.
- Nursery/Pre-School: Age Between 3 to 4 years
- KG/Pre-Primary: Age Between 4 to 5 years
- Class I (first): Age Between 5 to 6 years

When ews online registration for 2017 addmission will open?
Their is not any official announcement regarding this and also no link is updated on the edudel website once they make any announcement we will update it on our blog and share it with you.
Hi Kapil useful information. I have a query. We have settled in Delhi 10yrs before. For DG category can the father caste certoficate issued in other state is acceptable for this admission under DG category.
your query is different for me to be very honest i m not very sure about it but parents documents from other state under “DG” category should be acceptable but still recommend you to confirm it from nearest school as well in my opinion it should be acceptable.
While submitting online form for UKG/Pre-Primary class, on step-2 where school range is 0-1 KM, no school found in that range from my residence. Then I’ll go to step-3, where school range is 1-3 KM but there it showing “First you have to complete step-2” whereas step-2 is showing “No school found in that range pls go to step-3”

Online submission k bad jo wo printout or documents maine apply kiye h site pr unhe kahi particularly submit karna h ya suposed mere child ka number aa jata h draw me tab jis school me number aya h wha wo form ka prinout or document subit karne honge..??

No you don’t need to submit any document anywhere just carry your registration number with you as it is required during the result date. If you are lukcy and got selected in your choice of school then you have to provide all the original documents.
