How to Upload Documents in Digital Locker

If you have account in DigiLocker then you don’t need to read that article just follow the below mentioned steps to upload your documents.

Steps to Upload Documents in DigiLocker or Digital Locker

First you need to login then go to “My Certificate” section.
Now you have to select the document types (SSC Certificate, HSC Certificate, PAN Card, Voter ID etc.) from a drop down list.
Provide suitable name for your document
Based on the document type selected, you need to fill in the other details relevant to the document.
Choose the file from your computer/laptop/mobile to be uploaded to digital locker account.
The size of the file should not be more than 1MB
Format of the file should be in pdf, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp and gif only.
Provider description for your documents ( Maximum 50 character)
Click on “Upload” button.
On successful upload, your document will be listed under the “Uploaded Documents” section.

Now, you can share these documents to anyone and the process is quite easy.

How to Share the e-Documents from My Digital Locker?

You can see all the uploaded documents under the “Uploaded Documents” section if you logged in account then to reach Digital Documents>> Uploaded Documents.

Now click on “Share” link is provided against the documents which you would like to share.

A dialog box will pop up. Please enter the email address of the recipient in the dialog box and click “Share” button. It’s done

The recipient will receive an email from “no-reply@digitallocker.gov.in” The subject line of the email will mention the document name and document type. The email body will have the URI link of the document and the sender name and Aadhaar number. The recipient can access the document using the URI link provided in email.
